NEURALSTEM TRIALS TO BEGIN

Neuralstem, Inc., (Rockville, MD), filed its application on December 18, 2008 with FDA for the first ALS stem cell trial in the US. The trial will be conducted at Emory University, Atlanta, GA, under the direction of Dr. Jonathan Glass and Dr. Eva Feldman, assuming FDA approval of the protocol. This spinal delivery of stem cells has been developed specifically for those with ALS.
